Position Summary: The Billing Coordinator is responsible for performing all functions related to the monthly processing and distribution of the companies' invoices. This position requires the ability to work effectively both within a team structure and individually and can shift gears at a moment's notice. This is an in-person position in Enfield, CT and remote work arrangements are unavailable for this role. Your Role:
  • Responsible for daily data entry of services
  • Responsible for review, edits, and corrections of services to close out work orders in preparation for billing.
  • Maintain weight slip and drive paperwork received from dispatch sites.
  • Ability to run, filter, and review weekly daily reports as assigned.
  • Maintain Special Handling Accounts
  • Ability to operate mail and postage machines as well as move large quantities of material.
  • Separation and mailing of invoices daily as needed and on heavy billing days.
  • Communicate directly with both internal and external customers as needed, customer service, dispatch, sales, and subhaulers.
  • Implement organization methods, and procedures to proactively manage workload.
  • Involvement in departmental initiatives, projects, or cross-functional training
  • Support management company requests as needed.
  • Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technological skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
