DOELocation: Fort Myers, FLExperience: 1 + YearsBilling Coordinator Job Responsibilities include:The Billing Coordinator Specialist is responsible for entering incoming payments correctly into the system to keep accurate bookkeeping records.Billing Coordinator Job Responsibilities
- Maintain up to date billing system
- Recent and proficient QuickBooks experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet daily deadlines, and multi-task in fast paced environment
- Generate and send out invoices
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
- Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
- Perform accounting reconciliations
- Monitor customer account details for non payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Generate age analysis
- Review AR aging to ensure compliance
- Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail
- Assist with month end closing
- Must have good communication skills both verbal and written
