Please see the KenCrest website for additional details. The Billing Manager is responsible for managing all billing activities, functions and processes for the team that is assigned to them. It also includes the direct supervision of the Billing Supervisors and Sr. Billing Coordinators on their team. This individual will ensure accurate and timely billing and re-billing and the follow-up on denied and partially paid claims. This position is also responsible for Accounts Receivable management as well as participating in the testing and implementation of new billing, revenue and associated reporting technologies for the agency. They will implement agreed upon processes to maximize collections and must be able to successfully meet deadlines and departmental/team goals. This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations of approximately 1 (one) day per week at our 960 Harvest Drive location in Blue Bell, PA. Some Essential Functions:
  • Actively lead a meaningful, collaborative and highly effective team that fosters positive relationships based on mutual respect and inclusiveness.
  • Participate in the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of technology solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency and completeness of data needed for billing.
  • Partner with Director of Billing, Asst. Director of Billing and Director of Revenue Cycle to implement inter-departmental strategies that maximize complete, timely and accurate billing, collections and reporting.
  • Support established controls within the department to avoid waste, control spending and maintain accountability to agency requirements.
  • Support the development of financial performance goals that support decision making for financial performance.
  • Implement and monitor departmental performance expectations to maximize billing, cash collections and accuracy of reporting.
  • Partner with Director of Billing and Director of Revenue Cycle on ensuring the timely resolution of held Denied and Partially Paid claims.
  • Generate and disseminate accurate and timely reports to various stakeholders.
  • Measure departmental goals, KPIs and outcome performance measures and ensure that the data needed to improve performance is captured and accurately reported.
  • Monitor leading measures of performance in pursuit of meeting or exceeding performance goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field and a minimum of 4 years of Billing, Revenue Recognition or related experience with increasing analytical, process management, and supervisory related responsibilities required.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to lead staff through strategic change, process improvement and technology implementation.
  • Working knowledge of financial, analytical and KPI measurement and reporting.
  • Above average skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
