We are currently looking for a Billing Representative that has the character and personality to work with a strong team of personable individuals. Poised for growth, there has never been a better time to be part of the Gallagher Benefits team!

The Billing Representative will support our TPA (Third Party Administrator) team, with data entry + client service related to the enrollment of employee benefits. Our team harnesses our collective strengths to deliver outstanding service, coupled with our local expertise.

This is a remote position that can be based in the U.S. We will provide equipment as long as you have your own high speed internet.

How you'll make an impact:

Key responsibilities:

  • General tasks such as data entry, answering client requests via phone, and email, working closely with our internal team to provide excellent service
  • Lead client forms, and inputting data into our system
  • Run all eligibility issues for clients
  • Compiles eligibility and billing data into a single invoice for Gallagher clients
  • Liaising between the insurance carriers and the client
  • Responding to urgent requests via phone in a timely manner
  • Submitting client enrollment forms
  • Ensuring industry compliance and brand standards are maintained
About you:

Required: Bachelors degree and 2 years related experience required.

Preferred: Benefits billing experience. Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word. Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills, Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast work environment. Ability to work independently and on a team. General COBRA knowledge.
