If so, please read on! Billing Representative Wisper Internet is seeking a full-time non-exempt Billing Representative to join our Billing Team. In this role, the ideal candidate's primary responsibility is to assist customer with billing related matters. Pay: $16.50/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pmEssential Job Functions

  • Interact with customers using phone, email, chat, SMS or in-person while utilizing Wisper core values.
  • Follow Billing procedures without deviation
  • Basic troubleshooting of customer's internet connection via phone, email, chat, SMS or even while the customer is visiting with you in the retail storefront location
  • Interface with customers on behalf of Wisper at the retail location both in-person and via phone, email, chat, SMS, etc
  • Understand & follow proper escalation procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions from our internal knowledge base or other Wisper-provided documentation sources
  • Assist customers with billing needs, including taking payment, explaining bills, etc. whether in-person, by phone, email, chat or SMS
  • Perform internal sales functions including determining service availability, selling packages & scheduling jobs
  • Ensure customers have access to online systems, such as bill pay, email account, etc.
  • Perform administrative tasks which support the customer
  • Perform administrative tasks which support the local storefront location as required, such as ordering office supplies, scheduling repairs of office equipment, etc.
  • Contribute to a strong team morale
  • Assist in reaching department Key Performance Indicators
  • Other related duties as directed and assigned
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year customer service experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future
  • Regular & predictable attendance required

Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple changes to schedules &fluctuating priorities
  • Work is performed primarily indoors in an office setting but may include outdoors on occasion
Physical Requirements--X-Light: Lifting 0-10 lbs. This position requires a pre-employment Background Check and Drug Screen. All employment offers are contingent upon the results of the background check and drug screen.
