What you'll do as a Billing Specialist:
- Customer Service: The billing specialist will provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, both over the phone and through email.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with our valued customers.
- Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our computer system.
- Accounts Receivable: Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and credit card processing.
- Collections: Support collections efforts to ensure financial integrity.
- Administrative Support: Undertake general administrative tasks, including managing office supplies.
- Supporting Sales Manager: The billing specialist will work closely with the Sales Manager to facilitate order entry, daily billing, and invoicing.
- Processing Internet Orders: The billing specialist is responsible for handling internet orders, averaging about five per day.
What you'll need to succeed as a Billing Specialist:
- Associates degree or equivalent on-the-job experience.
- Familiarity with MRP systems like Fishbowl.
- QuickBooks or ERP experience preferred
- Excellent communications skill- written and verbal.
