Our client, located in Nassau County, is looking for a Billing Specialist with customer service experience.Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with clients and address their concerns.
- Maintain customer accounts and records to ensure accuracy and completeness in billing their accounts.
- Process refunds, billing adjustments, and credits as needed.
- Assist the Customer Service Department as needed with a high volume of calls.
- Manage payments, increases or mark-ups of clients' accounts
- Assist as needed in the accounting department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Must be good with numbers and calculations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work alternating weekends during business season
