Parasol Alliance is looking for a Billing Specialist to join our talented team!
Position Mission
The Billing Specialist will support our finance and HR teams. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, with a focus on client billing and invoicing. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Financial Support: assist the Director of Finance with various bookkeeping tasks including the following:
- Billing and Invoicing
- Prepare and send invoices to clients
- Track and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments
- Assist in resolving any billing discrepancies or issues
Operations Support: assist the Director of People Operations with various administrative tasks including the following:
- Assist in processing onboarding, termination, and internal change tickets
- Assist with internal mentorship programs including the new employee mentorship and career development mentorship program
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives including townhalls, engagement surveys, and new employee socials
- Assist with Best & Brightest nomination surveys
- Process internal purchase request tickets
- Proactively update information on company SharePoint
- Book internal travel and manage travel calendar
- Oversee logo wear and anniversary swag orders
- Maintain and update internal training videos/create additional content as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Familiarity with billing and invoicing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
