As a Billing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate billing processes for a variety of healthcare facilities.. Responsibilities Include• Billing 3rd party payers online (Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Medicare D plans)• Monthly Billing of invoices and Private Pay statements• Re-billing accounts as necessary• Handling phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy• Assisting in Hospice Account setup• Performing other tasks as assignedWhat You Will Bring• High School graduate or equivalency• 2-5 years of Medical Billing experience• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Proficiency in typing and computer usage• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines• Familiarity with medical terminology
