The duration of the assignment will be approximately 3 to 6 months and the hours per week will be approximately 32 hours.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate and timely invoices for multiple contracts with different Government clients
- Maintain up-to-date terms in the billing system compliant with contract terms
- Maintain customer billing files in an organized manner
- Review invoices to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Complete government required incremental reporting documents
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Update bill rate tables in JDE system
- Support customer and site inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Support the Billing Supervisor with internal and external requests and special projects
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Three years of equivalent professional experience
- One to four years of experience working in a contracting environment, preferably government contracting
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with J.D. Edwards or other Enterprise accounting systems a plus.
- Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
