On site in office or open to remote, M-F, 8:30am to 5pm, Heath, OH

Ideal candidates will reside around the Columbus, OH area, have at least 3 years management experience, and at least 5 years Home Health Medicare Episodic Billing experience in DDE.

As a Medicare Episodic Billing Supervisor, you are responsible for all aspects of patient/client billing and collections for designated branch(es), including but not limited to performing insurance verifications and authorizations, billing function, ensuring timely payment, collections and follow up. This position supervises a team of 3-5 Home Health Billing and Collections Specialists and ensures accurate and timely completion of all functions.

Duties Include:

As a Medicare Episodic Billing Supervisor, you will be:

• Manage the direction of the team, holding staff accountable to meet all required deadlines.

• Monitor accounts receivable (AR) on a monthly basis to ensure that timely collection occurs.

• Lead by example, demonstrating urgency, initiative, and personal motivation.

• Responsible for obtaining insurance verifications and authorizations.

• Accountable for the branch(es) accounts receivable balance, inclusive of billing and collections.

To qualify for a Medicare Episodic Billing Supervisor position with us:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum five (5) years healthcare billing experience inclusive of managed care.

• One (1) year in a leadership role providing training, support, and direction.

• Previous supervisory experience a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry billing.

• Detail oriented with strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient with software and systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Occasional same-day travel for meetings and conferences.
