The BIM Coordinator will help support the BIM Department with multiple tasks included below. He/she is responsible for coordinating Building Information Modeling processes for construction projects. This position is responsible for any of the assigned BIM functions which may include: Navisworks management Developing 3D models/drawings in Revit Leading project teams with BIM processes 1. OPERATIONS Coordinates all BIM processes for weekly BIM meetings. Manages coordination team to produce fully coordinated models. Runs clash analysis and manages/reviews solutions for the found issues. Travels to company projects for BIM meetings and support. Visits project sites on an as needed basis to see progress of project development pertinent to BIM processes. 2. INTERNAL BUSINESS RELATIONS Cultivates relationships with office and field employees. Creates renderings and drawings for Preconstruction (as needed) - floor plans, photorealistic renderings, site layouts, and/or logistics plans. Maintains and develops BIM department standards and SOPs. 3. SPECIAL OR INFREQUENT ACTIVITIES Reviews performance with the BIM Manager, including formal quarterly and informal weekly reviews or at project completion to identify performance strengths and weaknesses. Attends BIM related seminars as needed to ensure current best practices. Researches and develops new ways of leveraging technology for construction. 4. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, or equivalent training in a related field. Two or more years of experience with BIM modeling, clash analysis in Navisworks, and leading teams. Two or more years of experience with MEP coordination (BIM or otherwise).
