BIM Designer – Electrical What You'll Do:
- Team Up: Collaborate with engineers, fellow Revit operators, and production staff to complete projects on time.
- Create and Modify: Use concepts and red-lined documents to tweak and create schematics.
- Blueprint Mastery: Interpret technical drawings like a pro.
- Revit Magic: Utilize Revit software to create, update, and enhance project drawings.
- Detail-Oriented: Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Communication Whiz: Communicate effectively with clients and team members, both in writing and verbally.
- Hands-On: Previous electrical experience is a plus.
- Versatile: Take on other duties as needed to support production.
- Safety First: Follow guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
What You Need:
- Education: College degree with 2+ years of relevant design experience.
- Revit Expertise: Familiarity with Revit, especially 3D designs and families.
- Electrical Know-How: Knowledge of industrial/commercial electrical design for AC/DC systems, protective relaying schematics, and prior experience with control building or communication shelter design.
- Detail-Driven: Ability to interpret project specifications, deliver compliant design packages, and perform quality reviews.
- Self-Starter: Strong work ethic with minimal direction needed to meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills for client and staff interaction.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience: 4 years of engineering experience.
- Certification: Electrical Journeyman Certification.
- CAD: experience a plus
