Job Details
  • Coordinates project model deliveries, reviewing models to ensure accuracy and compliance with RMF and client standards.
  • Collaborates with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure smooth workflow integration.
  • Leads BIM coordination and kick-off meetings to discuss project updates and resolve issues.
  • Establishes, maintains, and updates documented processes, procedures, and workflows as needed.
  • Manages the interoperability between BIM and design/engineering tools.
  • Researches and evaluates new software technologies for potential implementation.
  • Acts as the primary contact for local office BIM standards members.
  • Develops training materials and conducts training sessions for BIM software users.
  • Leads the implementation and enforcement of company-wide BIM standards.
  • Performs quality control checks in accordance with established CAD/BIM quality standards.
  • Directs the strategic utilization of BIM, anticipates challenges, and presents solutions to senior leadership.
  • Promotes the adoption of advanced BIM technologies and fosters a positive, forward-thinking approach.
  • Develops department standards, calculations, and memos.
  • Automates BIM routines to enhance standards and productivity.
  • Provides support for plotting and electronic file submissions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Technology.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, BIM 360, Navisworks, and Adobe software.
  • In-depth knowledge of BIM practices, standards, and techniques.
  • IT background is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience with expertise in Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Autodesk Certified Professional (Expert Level)
  • Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM)
  • buildingSMART Certification.
