The incumbent should have excellent understanding of all elements of Design / Build project workflows, and how BIM workflows can and should be used to streamline budgets & create efficiencies while maximizing profits on a project by project basis. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all teams are coordinated and utilizing the proper BIM workflows and adhering to the plan set forth. Developing & creating project specific BIM execution plans are vital to this role, working to satisfy all owner/contractual requirements while minimizing risk. The Manager of BIM shall create & foster a culture of BIM practices and work to gain adoption from all aspects of the business unit and serve as an example for other business units.Requirements
  • Normally requires a 2-year degree in Design or other related field and a minimum of 10 years production experience in design, drafting, or engineering OR BS in architecture, engineering or construction management. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a design/construction environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of all BIM technology including but not limited to, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, Revizto, Lumion, Assemble, Structionsite, Cyclone, unreal engine, dynamo, PowerBi.
  • Advanced understanding of LOD requirements, Latest LOD specification, responsibility matrices, and standard AIA BIM contractual documents.
  • Advanced understanding of creating / implementing BIM execution plans & the impacts on both the design and construction side.
  • Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft windows apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint).
  • Advanced Dynamo / PowerBI skills.
  • Laser Scanning certification.
  • Usage of drones for mapping environments.
  • Enhanced knowledge of AR/VR technologies.
  • Up to 40% travel required.
