Respect Job Summary: The Bio-Room Attendant is primarily responsible for maintaining a safe and bio secure environment for bird health in the layer facilities. Maintains company professionalism and reputation at all time. Essential Job Functions:
  • Authorize and disinfect all entrance and departure of visitors and other persons and equipment to maintain bio security of premises.
  • Call supervisor in cases of emergency, such as presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Complete reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as feed deliveries, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences keeps bio room in clean disinfected working order at all times.
  • Attendant helps with outside work being preformed
  • Maintains company's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements and public relations.
  • Compliance to USDA regulations and Oakdell Farms Good Manufacturing Practices as well as the Food Defense Program.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • Ability to work well with staff and public
  • Ability to interact with diverse population
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to act calmly and with composure in difficult situations
  • Speak English
  • Must be able to twist and bend. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to walk ad stand for long periods of time on different surfaces.
