They will lead and perform statistical analyses of high throughput proteomics data (specifically, generated in the SomaLogic platform) by developing computational pipelines, in a highly independent manner. They will need to have a solid understanding and knowledge on how to write and read code to process proteomics datasets, generate reports, and present the results to the rest of the team. They will be expected to lead their own analysis, as well as to collaborate with other team-mates (neuroscientists, physicians, and staff members) in an effort to incorporate the biological perspective to the analysis they are leading.
They will directly report to Dr. Adam Boxer but will also receive subject-matter guidance from other members of the lab.
Initial projects include proteomics analysis of an existing dataset generated from samples collected under ARTFL LEFFTDS Longitudinal FTLD (ALLFTD), one of our large multicenter natural history studies.
