Responsibilities
The Biomedical Equipment Technician II provides and documents installation, inspection, calibration, repairs, and planned maintenance of most classes of medical equipment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
* Associate's degree or equivalent in biomedical or electronics technology from college or technical school, and/or equivalent training and experience required.
EXPERIENCE:
* Two years medical equipment service experience required.
* Certification may substitute for one year of required experience.
* Healthcare experience preferred.
SKILLS:
* Effective English communication skills (both verbally and in writing).
* Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
* Knowledge of medical equipment.

Licensure
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
* Current, valid applicable driver's license and a driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements.
* Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES); Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET); or Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES) preferred.
Pay Range
USD $36.68 - USD $52.44 /Hr.
