Biomedical Engineering Service Manager

Job Summary: Duties include supervision of the day to day operations of the Clinical Engineering department: hiring of staff, scheduling of daily work, technical support, training, budgeting, reporting, and installation planning. The overall responsibility is to ensure that the equipment is properly maintained and in safe working condition, done by meeting established PM targets and following established repair protocols. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or Bachelors in Engineering Technology and three years of relevant technical experience (preferably in a hospital/healthcare setting), previous supervisory experience, excellent written/oral communication, time management, and organizational skills required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing department interns, leading and mentoring of biomedical equipment technicians, lean six sigma certified.Previous clinical engineering supervisor experience preferred.
