As a Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of their dialysis system.In this role, you will interface professionally with clinical staff as well as patients and will be one of the key faces of the company. The candidate will provide exceptional customer support and should be able to apply basic engineering theory to accurately diagnose issues, understand root causes, and apply appropriate solutions.The FSE will assist Production and Engineering when needed and as the service schedule allows. They will additionally provide support in Marketing or Sales for seminars, trade shows, and other demonstrations, as necessary. The Field Service Engineer will also supply feedback to R&D regarding system performance, serviceability improvements as well as customer feedback. They may also be asked to help develop training or service manual materials as time permits.They will be responsible for properly documenting all activities and jobs performed in accordance with the Quality Management System policies and procedures. You will also manage and maintain company assets (tools, equipment, and trunk inventory) in accordance with those same policies and procedures. The FSE should expect to travel within the United States with the potential for worldwide travel as the company grows. Currently, travel is 2-4 overnights a week. You may travel to another site to cover down for fellow FSEs while they are on PTO. This is a Monday-Friday position, working day shift, clinical hours. Base salary 10-25% overtime and a 5% bonus dependent upon performance and company profitability. 2% match on 401k. Vehicle reimbursement will range between $375 - $425/month based on $0.15-$0.20/mile depending upon location. You will receive $100 a month for internet and $100 a month for cell. The company reimburses you for meals: breakfast up to $15, lunch up to $25, and dinner up to $50.
