Job Description:
BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNOLOGIST JOB OVERVIEW This position is responsible for the support of Montefiore Weiler campus clinical, biomedical, analytical, laboratory, and scientific systems and devices. Support includes testing, basic troubleshooting, basic repair, preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration, and documentation in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements and Montefiore Weiler policies and Procedures. Most services are performed at the West Campus, Hutch, Westchester Square and surrounding area clinics and physician practices. Required
  • Associate's Degree in Biomed, Electronics or equivalent; (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • AAMI Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred
