EIS is seeking a Biomedical Research Laboratory ManagerMandatory Qualifications: The Biomedical Research Laboratory Manager is a pivotal role that requires a combination of scientific expertise, leadership skills, and organizational abilities to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the laboratory.
- The contractor employee shall possess a minimum master's degree in a STEM field with a minimum three (3) years' demonstrated experience in research/translational lab.
- The contractor employee shall possess at least one (1) year demonstrated experience with large animal research models (swine).
- The contractor employee shall possess demonstrated expertise with ordering, procuring, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
- The contractor employee shall possess minimum one (1) year demonstrated experience developing and executing research protocols.
- The contractor employee shall possess demonstrated experience following industry standards and safety regulations for handling samples.
- The contractor employee shall possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business inquiries, including technical RFQ/RFP.
- The contractor employee shall possess the ability to work with veterinary staff to set up and prepare experiments.
- The contractor employee shall posses demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to track and manage inventory.
- The contractor employee shall demonstrate the following work characteristics: ability to work independently; attention to detail; extensive organizational skills; initiative, ability, and drive to solve practical problems; excellent multitasking skills; ability to professionally interact with all levels of personnel.
- The contractor employee shall demonstrate expertise on Microsoft Office programs and laboratory management software such as lab chart.
- The contractor employee shall have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance.
