As a Biostatistician faculty member within the Department of Internal Medicine at East Tennessee State University's College of Medicine, you will play a key role in powering impactful research and strengthening the next generation of physicians.
You will partner closely with students, residents, fellows and faculty across departments to turn raw data into powerful insights. Work hand-in-hand with researchers to craft analysis plans, unlock insights from large datasets, and produce compelling results for publication.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge of biostatistical analytic approaches including large data sets
* Knowledge of statistical programs
* Ability to communicate effectively with medical students, residents, and trainees.
* Ability to develop and teach statistical educational curricula
* Ability to determine appropriate biostatistical software for research studies
* Ability to adhere to and apply University/College/Department/Clinic policies and procedures
* Ability to conduct oneself in a professional demeanor
* Ability to manage time effectively
Required Qualifications
* Ph.D. or Master's in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
* One + year of experience in biostatistical analysis, preferably in a research or clinical setting
