Mandatory Qualifications:
- The employee shall possess, at minimum, a master's level degree in statistics or biostatistics, and at least 5 years' experience in combining, cleaning, and analyzing large multivariate datasets.
- The employee shall possess expertise in statistical modeling, statistical modeling plans, experimental design, data analysis, and management.
- The employee shall have knowledge and experience with common statistical methods such as survival analysis, parametric and non-parametric methods, multiple and logistic regressions, structural equation modeling, hierarchical linear modeling, psychometric methods as well as experience applying them to real-world situations.
- The employee shall possess expertise in statistical analysis software such as SPSS, SAS, AMOS, R, Access, SQL Server and/or STATA.
- The employee shall import, clean, merge, manage, transform, validate, and/or analyze large multivariate datasets.
- The employee shall possess technical writing and presentation skills, including the ability to provide interpretation of results.
- The employee shall have experience with MS Windows, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.
- The employee shall be professional, detail oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and speak fluent English. The employee shall have the ability to thrive in a team environment yet be able to complete assigned tasks independently or with minimal guidance.
- The employee shall have the ability to achieve set goals, the initiative in performing assigned tasks, the ability to follow-up complex projects with influence, and integrity, and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel in and outside of the organization.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Prior military experience or previous experience working in a military environment.
- Knowledge in electronic health records.
- Training in human subjects' protections, regulatory affairs, and data collection.
