Join our team caring for Georgia's native birds! Dedicated individuals are needed for regular bird care shifts. Hands-on training with a licensed rehabiliator is provided.​Located in Legacy Park, Decatur, Wild Nest Bird Rehab is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, committed to the care of Georgia's native birds and educating the public about their conservation.​Responsibilities include:Hand feeding baby birdsPreparing a variety of food and formulasCleaning bird habitats and general facility cleaningRecognizing and communicating patient problemsQualificationsNo bird care experience is required. We will train you via our structured training program.Ability to volunteer for a 4 hour shift once per weekSome attention to detail is needed in order to follow protocols and proceduresMust be 18+ years of ageA love for animals!Once trained in our bird care processes, other volunteer opportunities may be made available such as marketing, working events, fundraising, administrative and gardening.​
