We are searching for our next Bird Exclusion Technician to help us embrace new adventures daily.About Us:At Meridian, our goal is to provide safe and effective bird removal and control solutions to our customers in the commercial retail space.Role:The Bird Exclusion Technician is responsible for installing preventative measures to safeguard commercial and retail properties from nuisance bird populations. This role demands strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle minor infrastructural repairs. Ideal candidates possess a background in construction, wildlife management, or related fields. Exceptional customer service and strict adherence to safety regulations are essential for effectively addressing and preventing bird-related issues for our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Inspections and Installations:
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify potential bird entry points.
- Install a variety of exclusion materials, including screens, net systems, vent covers, and other barriers and various products.
- Repairs and Maintenance:
- Perform minor repairs to roofs, siding, walls, and other areas as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining exclusion methods and answering questions.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other Operations divisions to ensure effective solutions.
- Team Meridian:
- Attend and engage in one-on-one sessions with the manager and participate in departmental and company calls.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience in construction, carpentry, wildlife management, wildlife exclusion, or a related field preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, and working in confined and elevated spaces.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel by car and plane to customer sites to perform exclusion work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Lives within 50 miles of Philadelphia, PA.
