We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Blackjack Dealer to join our SaltCreek Casino Blackjack team.Summary:Deal casino card games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for all guests and generate revenue for the department.Responsibilities:* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines and meets needs- Seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards- May provide break coverage for others as assigned- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Cleans assigned area- Cleans and sweeps floors- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms- May empty ash trays- Disposes of trash- May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks- Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas* Escalates problematic customer issues to the next level supervisor to provide a timely resolution to ensure maximum level of customer satisfaction* Maintains security of games and monies by remaining at the assigned table and keeping visual contact with customers, game layout and chip rack at all times* Provides instructions to guest when requested or as assigned in order to encourage gaming activity* Coordinates with Casino Operations and Surveillance to detect and prevent attempts to cheat and to identify floor irregularities to ensure game integrity and protection* Deals assigned card games* All other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential:* Follow instructions, both written and oral * Card and Table Games compliance* Adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Learn and apply Title 31 subject matter* Communicates verbally with team, departments, guests and management* Use voice in authoritative mannerSkills:Experience:Essential:* No prior experience required.Education:Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential:* Pass gaming background check* CDNC certified blackjack dealer* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:Essential:* May work where cigarette smoking occurs* Bright and Flashing lights* Fast-paced* May work in loud or noisy areas* Noisy* Potential exposure to blue and or white light* Communications written, verbal* May be required to assist individuals who are emotionally disturbed* Pass pre-employment drug test* Hand-eye coordination, reach and grasp* Manual dexterity* Standing up to 100% of shift* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* May work evening shift* May work holidays* May work night shift* May work weekend shift
