An ideal candidate will have an understanding of how bonds, loans, and structured products function, coupled with proficiency in Python and SQL, and a willingness to integrate coding into their daily tasks. The role is operationally focused and will provide oversight of COE (Center of Excellence) resources, which includes reviewing their work, providing feedback, and actioning any necessary changes. Additionally, it will be important for this individual to help manage the emails our team receives for day-to-day operational tasks. From a project perspective, the candidate will collaborate with team members both onshore and offshore, as well as with the business, to build and deploy Python/SQL-based processes and integrate these tasks into the daily activities that the COE will manage, while the hired resource will oversee the work.An ideal candidate will have the following:Required10+ years of experienceAbility to manage a team of offshore resources and be responsible for ensuring daily requests are completed accurately.Strong Python/SQL skills required.Understanding of fixed income markets, especially loans and market data vendors.Willingness to work in an operational role and utilize technological skill sets for projects.Ability to work in a team environment.Confident and entrepreneurial.Nice to haveUnderstanding of GitUnderstanding of SageMaker/JupyterLabExperience with Visual StudioThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
