Hi-Vac Corporation, located in Marietta Ohio, is accepting applications for Blast Booth Operators to work in the Paint Department operating the blasting booth and prepping fabricated material for paint in the manufacturing process of large industrial products.

Specific Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Reading and processing work orders.
• selecting appropriate materials and tools for each job and planning the sequence.
• Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malefactions.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance.
• Performing basic machine operation.
• Communicating with the supervisor and paint personnel.
• Understand the Safety and Proper procedures of operating the equipment.
• Ability to use forklift to move parts in and out of the blasting booth.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Ability to work in and safely operate the equipment.

Education & Experience:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Post Secondary Education in Paint or Body work.
• Some experience required.
