The Precision Technician is responsible for the setup and operation of friction manufacturing equipment. A precision technician includes the following areas: IAG Press, high variety finish lines, robotic bagger, robotic press, ADB Compound, ADB Finish Line unloader and other assigned duties. Responsibilities: Maintain a safe work environment and always follow all safety rules, using all PPE as required daily; maintains proactive attention to safety, including keeping work area clean and healthy. Always inspects all equipment prior to use and reports any discrepancies immediately. Inspects product for quality; if unacceptable, investigates cause, takes corrective action, and notifies leadership. Accurately records all scrap data. Demonstrates proper machine operation per standard work requirements. Follows all work instructions, both written and verbal, along with directions from team leaders/supervisors/managers to produce quality product.
