We are currently seeking full time Blood Bank Supervisor to perform clinical/technical/admin tasks; oversee quality assurance for test procedures; evaluate/manage/schedule/train staff; monitor inventory; provide technical orientation of new staff; maintain compliance standards of NYSDOH, ASHA, CAP, Joint Commission, etc.; perform pipetting and manual dilutions; computer literacy for requisitioning of tests; result verification/OEM, manual entry of results, generating logs/worksheets, correcting results and following critical value policy.

We require:

• BS degree from an accredited college/university
• NYS Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or eligible.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience (post BS degree) or 2 years relevant exp (post MS degree)
• Completion of in-house orientation
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to read, write and speak English
