Job DetailsJoin an established Manufacturers Representative company that provides HVAC, Building Automation, and plumbing products throughout Texas. Focus on Laboratory and Critical Environments. Experience with Phoenix Controls, Reliable, KMC or Aircuity controls is a plus Currently hiring for a BMS Control Technician to install, program, and service, digital control systems while maintaining quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Job Duties:
  • Perform standard software programming installations.
  • Coordinate jobsite activities for panel and field device placements.
  • Handle loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as needed.
  • Install cables, including wiring, tagging, and terminations as required.
  • Communicate project statuses to management to manage costs, billings, and collections.
  • Assist in transitioning projects from installation to service.
  • Support the service department with emergency service calls and programming assistance.
  • Record work performed and complete necessary documentation.
  • Provide technical support to customers and other mechanical technicians.
  • Respond to emergency service calls.
  • Conduct factory-authorized equipment startups and warranty services.
  • Perform factory-required retrofits.
  • Conduct customer training sessions on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Diagnose service issues, obtain replacement parts, and calibrate systems according to manufacturer's recommendations.
MUST HAVE:
  • A High School Degree is required, and a 2-year technical degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of BAS/BMS or DDC Controls experience
  • Experience with HVAC equipment such as ventilation, DX cooling systems, hot water systems, chilled water systems, air handlers, VAV and VVT zoning systems, & related equipment required
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms: Distech, Niagara Siemens, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Delta Controls, Trane, or ALC
