Overview:

If you are an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for customer service, product knowledge,and you enjoy working with people, then we want you to be part of our team as a BMW GENIUS for our BMW of Riverside store. The BMW Genius is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories. He or she presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale and maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, previous sales experience (in any industry preferred), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Informing customers on product specifications of all BMW products and features.
  • Conducting the need analysis together with the customer.
  • Managing the test drive process.
  • Keeping the product knowledge within the dealership at high level.
  • Supporting the Sales Consultants during the sales process.
  • Being the main point of contact for the customer to answer any questions about products including usage and/or functions.
  • Maintain an owner follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits to the customer.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Other Duties as requested.

Qualifications:
  • Highly motivated with strong enthusiasm for BMW as well as a high affinity for technology.
  • Enjoys learning about innovative technologies.
  • Must have high-energy personality.
  • Confidence in your ability to be successful.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Must have a valid California driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Experience representing a luxury/prestige brand OR product/marketing is a preferred but not mandatory.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
