Job Description:

Pacific BMW is looking to hire a Driver/Concierge for the Service Department at our Dealership. This position reports to the Edgar Oganesyan, Service Manager. The Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am - 4:00pm, this is a full-time 40hr per week position and it is paid hourly. The starting pay rate is $17. Qualifications

  • Required minimum of 3 years with a driver's license in the U.S.
  • Professional driving experience with an excellent parking record
  • Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining safe driving protocols
  • Detail-oriented and attentive to customers' needs
  • Ability to easily engage in conversation and personalize customer interactions
  • Manual & automatic transmission experience is preferred
  • Superior work ethic, dependability and professionalism
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively acknowledge and engage all guests visiting the Dealership following Pacific BMW's standards
  • Assist with shuttle driving and delivering cars to customers, technicians, and the car wash safely and efficiently
  • Understand and execute the basic processes that occur on the Drive such as lane designation, hats program, the role of advisors, and the keybox
  • Utilize the tire pressure monitor and perform oil/coolant top-offs
  • Check that all cars have been properly cleaned before the customer picks up the car
  • Follow all procedures related to the Tag Program and Get Ready Log
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Help Service Advisors and technicians as needed
  • Familiarize and utilize the Dealership computer programs such as MDL
  • Assist with off-loading vehicles from tow trucks
  • Check-in vehicles on the service drive while ensuring all damages are noted accurately
  • Organize vehicles on-site and off-site following supervisor's guidance
Physical Requirements
  • Surroundings: position requires to move throughout the company facility for most of the shift, spend time outdoors exposed to the weather, and spend some time indoors in air-conditioned areas
  • On a regular basis: standing, walking, bending, twisting and/or stooping, kneeling and/or squatting, climbing stairs, lifting, reaching and/or lifting overhead, grabbing with hands, pushing and pulling heavy machinery
  • Infrequently: sitting
