We are proud to promote an equal employment opportunity workplace.Set up tables and banquet hall before the eventAssist with food preparation before and during the eventEnsures that all food and beverages delivered and served are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the quality and presentation standardsServe appetizers and plated dinners to guestsServe and refill alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesClosely observe guests to ensure that they are satisfied with food, beverages, and service; immediately recognize and respond to any guest's needs and/or requestsAssist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear downPerform all other duties as assigned by managementDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for proper setup and tear down phase of eventsAssist with post-event clean up and resetInspect public and staff areas for cleanliness and rectify issues.Transporting supplies, stocking bars and action stationsComplete knowledge and interpretation of buffet stations for particular servicesHave knowledge of floor plan, hours of operation, and time line of eventFamiliarity of table numbers and seat numbersExecutes delivery of food from kitchen to tablesMust work with a high sense of urgency.Maintain event equipment and report any damage or issues there might beProperly cares for, stores and moves tables, chairs, equipment and room suppliesParticipates as a team member for events when neededAssist with food preparation before and during the event.Clears dishes and glass ware when returning to kitchen (pre-buss)Ensures that all food and beverages delivered and served are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the quality and presentation standardsPerforms assigned side work and cleaning duties as assigned by manager.Closely observe guests to ensure that they are satisfied with food, beverages, and service; immediately recognize and respond to any guest's needs and/or requestsAbility to perform multiple functions throughout the venue on an as-needed basisPerform all other duties as assigned by managementPrevious banquet server/catering or houseman/porter/steward experience a plusExcellent customer service skillsMust be able to stand and walk for several hours at a time and lift up to 75 poundsReliable transportationMust be able to communicate clearly and effectively.Cleanliness: Being clean and neat when serving food and drinks will help create a great first impression to your customers.REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredAt least 19 years old and be available to work weekends and holidays.Previous banquet server/cater waiter experience a plusExcellent customer service skillsMust be able to stand and walk for several hours at a time and lift up to 30 poundsReliable transportationMust be able to communicate clearly and effectivelyCleanliness: Being clean and neat when serving food and drinks will help create a great fi rst impression to yourcustomers.Benefi t
