Job DetailsJob LocationAll Locations (Norwell, Stoughton, West Bridgewater, Sharon) - none, MAPosition TypeFull TimeEducation LevelGraduate DegreeTravel PercentageUp to 25%Job ShiftAnyJob CategoryHealth CareDescriptionThe Clinical Fellow position is a training position for newly licensed Behavior Analysts and aims to ensure all new BCBAs have significant quality work experience, can identify and implement best clinical practices, and provide high quality ABA services prior to assuming full case management responsibilities. Clinical fellows are responsible for helping at our clinical centers, attending weekly trainings, conducting assessments, designing ABA programs for skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans, parent training, as well as ongoing supervision and training of Behavior Technicians (BTs) in both clinic and home-based settings. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
- Assist with clinical tasks at centers 15-20 hours per week
- Attend weekly training meetings and complete assignments
- Develop treatment goals based on direct and indirect assessments
- Visual analysis of collected data and revision of programming based on analysis
- Deliver initial and ongoing training to Behavior Technicians (BTs)
- Directly observe treatment implementation for potential program revision and to ensure consistency across team members
- Model and train Behavior Technicians to implement new programs or treatment protocols
- Prepare biannual or quarterly progress reports as required by various funding sources
- Utilize Proven Behavior Solutions' methodologies and formatting to ensure continuity across the Proven Team
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attendance and participation at regular staff meetings and company-wide training days
- Conduct presentation at a clinical staff meeting
- Completion of required service summary forms
- Weekly entry of ABA hours delivered to clients into utilization tracker
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary clinical team
Qualifications
- Masters and/or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred), Psychology, or Special Education
- Valid and current certification as a BCBA/BCBA-D
- Submitted LABA application to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- At least 2 years' experience in ABA
- Strong supervisory skills and a willingness to accept and provide regular feedback
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPR/BLS preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong organizational skills
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to occasionally lift children, materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, sitting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to occasionally lift materials or equipment weighing up to 25 lbs; lift and arrange meeting room chairs, folding tables, flip charts, projectors, video recorder, boxes of supplies, etc.
