As a Hospice Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant, you will: Report directly to the Administrator, Executive Director or Patient Care Manager Senior and function under the direction, instruction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Clinical Supervisor. Help the patient to maintain good personal hygiene. Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Prepare and serve light meals. Assist in feeding patient when needed. Assist the patient in ambulation. Assist with the safe use of a walker or wheelchair as taught and supervised by the nurse. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as emptying trash and changing linens.
