Our Boat Crew will support a dynamic Hawaiian boating experience that will blend fresh air, sunshine, nature, and ocean-curated activities. This person must thoroughly love the outdoors, being with people, and working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a proficient swimmer who is warm, outgoing, and helpful. He or she will be responsible for ensuring the boat is in safe and working order, providing our guests with a memorable experience through personable water activity guides, and work in harmony with the rest of the crew and captain to efficiently operate the vessel.
- To provide outstanding customer service and aloha towards our guests.
- Work in harmony with the other crew and captain to provide a safe and memorable experience.
- Conduct detailed water sport orientations with guests.
- Guide guests throughout their boating experience.
- Train guests on proper use of activity equipment and safety.
- Drop and set anchor.
- Hand out Gear needed for fishing, snorkeling and possibly surf excursions in the winter.
- Ensure the boat is ready and in working order for operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Hawaiian waters.
- Experience with boat education.
- Basic foiling knowledge.
- Deep-sea fishing experience.
- FIRST AID / CPR certified required.
- Able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Proficient in swimming.
- Able to dive 20'.
- Able to work under harsh conditions. Rough seas and high winds.
