We are currently seeking to hire a Boat Salesperson to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team to drive company revenue.
- Position summary: Work with customers to identify boats that meet needs and desires. Guide customers through the purchase process. Position responsibilities:
- 1. Support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
- 2. Receive inquiries from customers requesting pricing quotes or general information either by phone, email, or in person.
- 3. Research customer inquiries using Internet sites, manufacturer contact or on-site reference materials.
- 4. Perform sales engagements with customers on site, reviewing product features and benefits
- 5. Maintain a strong knowledge of on hand and on order boat inventory.
- 6. Maintain a clean and professional work area.
- 7. Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
- 8. Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed. Perform on the water Demo's with customers.
- 9. Know how to drive a tractor to pull boats in and out of store.
- 10. To be able to make video's for online marketing and social media.
- Education and/or Experience High School education or equivalent experience Mathematical Skills / Reasoning Ability Ability to calculate figures such as discounts or percentages and make change to customers
- Communication Skills Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates Good phone and email etiquette
- Physical requirements Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to stand for extended periods Other Knowledge,
- Skills and Abilities Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers Ability to operate computer and perform email, etc. Marine knowledge helpful
