Location: Bergey's Truck Center- Wrightsville, PA

Summary:

Service advisors greet customers, listen to their description of the problems or service needed, determine the type of service required and prepare repair orders. If a vehicle requires additional repairs not covered in the original order, they estimate the additional cost and telephone the customer for permission to do the work. They also advise customers on other available services.

Essential Duties:

* Complete all admin work to create and manage a RO.

* Perform complete check in process of Vehicle. (includes authorization paperwork)

* Write Complete Estimate with minimal supplement. (must be thorough)

* Picture document vehicle and damages.

* Utilize estimating systems and management systems.

* Interact with Technicians to complete supplemental damages and repair methodology.

* Input supplement into estimating system and management system.

* Maintain and update repair status and repair notes throughout the repair process.

* Work directly with parts dept to have parts ordered and received and correctly documented.

* Manage sublets and receive invoices when finished.

* Qc check on final product after detail, making sure to go over the estimate and the vehicle.

* Final Photos taken 4 corners and mileage and dashboard.

* Reconcile RO making sure all information possible is in the file all invoices, est and supps, in process photos. Check for critical exceptions

* Make sure the file matches and balances and payments are confirmed and documented.

* Customers must be kept up to date and must be aware of estimates and supplements.

* All payments need to be accounted for prior to vehicle release.

* Once the file, vehicle, and customer are ready to go, the file can be handed to the office manager for review and entered into DMS.

* At any time, the file is not correct it is writer responsibility to rectify the file.

* Perform estimates for customers on a needed basis. (scheduling estimates is preferred) Mobile Estimates if time permits

* Active follow ups are required on vehicles that have no customer or insurance contact. (must document)

* Top customer service treatment is expected at all times.

* Open cordial work-related communication with all team members is required (daily self WIP walks)

* Perform an active delivery with the customer, confirm with the office manager and or mark delivered.

* Perform other non-printed tasks at times in as needed areas and times.

* Be as thorough as possible in everything you do.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

* Valid Driver's License

* Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
