Boiler OperatorChaska, MNCurrently looking for skilled individuals to fill the position of direct hire Boiler Operator opening with a company located in Chaska, MN. Interested candidates should have a 2nd Class B Minnesota Boiler Engineer's License, and 3-5+ years of industrial facilities maintenance experience.Boiler Operator Job Description:Start Up/Shut Down/ Operation on heating and process steam systems.Managing water chemistry for both boiler feedwater and cooling tower water systemsRepair and maintenance of process equipment and related support utilities, building and exterior equipment.Support proper running of utilities including ammonia refrigeration, steam and water, hot oil heating and compressed gas systems.Secure MGK's building and grounds and maintain a safe working environment for employees. This includes but not limited to air quality testing, spare parts ordering, tool and inventory management, equipment demo and installation, general knowledge of process operations.Assist in directing and supporting custodial personnel.Utilize company's CMMS to establish and update procedures, prioritize and record maintenance tasks.Complete other assigned tasks as requested.Boiler Operator Job Requirement:High School Degree or G.E.D.2nd Class “B” Minnesota Boiler Engineer's license or higher3 to 5+ years industrial facilities maintenance, experience with and knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair.General knowledge of production equipment, pipefitting, liquid, compressed gas and HVAC systems.Must be willing to become forklift certified and don required PPE.Must be team orientated with a positive attitude and goal focused objectivity.Must have excellent time management skills and professional discipline to work at an efficient pace, safely executing work orders and prioritized demands.Pipefitting, welding, fabrication skills, and refrigeration knowledge are all a plus.Compensation for Boiler Operator:The starting salary for the Boiler Operator position is $30-$40 an hour.
