**Current Hiring Needs:**Electro-Mechanic (Ammonia/Refrigeration)1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm or until finish. Should expect 50-60 hours a week of OT right now until Maintenance team is fully staffed. Starting to get caught up slowly. Saturday hours are typically around 6 hours. Willing to accommodate Saturdays off when needed as long as it's not every Saturday.Pay Range: $24 - 32/hr**Job Description:**We rely on the Refrigeration & Boiler Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our critical refrigeration, boiler, and compressed air systems. Your role is essential in reducing downtime, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for these vital systems that keep the plant operating efficiently.Ammonia Refrigeration System:o Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on refrigeration systems including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and controls.o Diagnose issues in refrigeration circuits and equipment and replace defective components as necessary.o Monitor system performance and make adjustments to ensure optimum operation and energy efficiency.Boiler Operations:o Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial boilers and associated systems, including water treatment and steam generation equipment.o Repair boiler components such as pumps, valves, and piping, ensuring compliance with regulatory safety standards.o Perform safety checks, inspections, and routine servicing of boilers to comply with regulatory standards and safety protocols.Compressed Air System:o Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the plant's compressed air system, ensuring consistent air supply to critical equipment.o Monitor and adjust air pressure levels, inspect for leaks, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.o Perform repairs on compressors, dryers, filters, and distribution piping to maintain system integrity and efficiency.HVAC Support:o Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC systems, including air handling units, chillers, and cooling towers.Safety & Compliance:o Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including hazardous materials handling, high-pressure systems, and environmental regulations.o Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation for audits and compliance checks.Collaboration:o Work closely with other maintenance team members to ensure all systems—refrigeration, boiler, and compressed air—run smoothly with minimal downtime.o Assist in the installation and upgrade of refrigeration, boiler, and compressed air equipment, recommending improvements as needed.**Competencies and Skills:**• Strong planning and judgment skills to address complex, unique challenges with minimal precedent.• Ability to adapt existing methods and procedures to meet new requirements while considering organizational policies and objectives.• Capability to provide advice and recommendations to management that influence maintenance policies.• Competence in conducting periodic inspections using various gauges and fixtures.• Ability to evaluate and interpret inspection results, with a focus on precision and accuracy.**About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
