Job Type TemporaryDescriptionSummary: Boilermaker will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and other large containers and vessels in industrial settings. They will use a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and metalworking machinery to install and repair structural components, as well as demolish and remove old equipment. The Boilermaker will also be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and be able to work with a respirator.Duties and responsibilities: •Install, maintain, and repair boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and other large containers and vessels in industrial settings•Install and repair structural components using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and metalworking machinery•Demolish and remove old equipment•Use chain falls, come-along, and other rigging equipment•Know all crane/rigging hand signals•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals•Perform quality control checks to ensure that work meets industry and company standards•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proceduresRequirementsEssential qualifications: Five years of experience as a boilermaker or similar experienceAbility to use a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and metalworking machineryExperience using chain falls, come-along, and other rigging equipmentKnowledge of all crane/rigging hand signalsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsExperience with associated power toolsExperience with heavy equipment operation and maintenanceAbility to work at heights, in confined spaces, and be able to work with a respiratorAuthorized to work in the United States Working conditions: The Boilermaker will work in a variety of physical environments, including construction sites, manufacturing plants, and refineries.Travel may be required.
