About the Role
A locally owned, independent insurance agency seeks an experienced client service professional to join their team as Bond Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm with a long history of excellence in customer service to local and regional businesses. Your role will be to serve the contract surety needs of clients in the construction industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the administration of all the agency's surety accounts
- Work closely with insurance companies on pre-underwriting, marketing, and binding
- Handle daily policy administration including correspondence with clients on billing and renewals
Skills & Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of commercial property and casualty experience with exposure to construction accounts and/or contract bonds in a customer service or underwriting support role
- Proficient with online rating, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- State insurance license
