Position Title: Maintenance Technician Position Overview:The Maintenance Technician assists the Director of Plant Operations in maintaining all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, and equipment. You Have:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience with HVCA, appliances, security and sprinkler systems, lifeline systems, fire alarms, plumbing, heating, electric and/or any other related repair or maintenance is preferred.
- Basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and possess a basic knowledge of construction principles.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
- A courteous and friendly manner with guests, residents and staff interactions.
- Candidate must be available to work weekends, and must be on-call certain days.
