DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period. Duties will include performing as a fictional character in Boo Fest themed zones, hay mazes and family friendly zones and entertaining our park guests with great enthusiasm and animation. Interested applicants must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight, be able to work in crowds, heat, cold.What will you be doing:Interact with our littlest guests and families inside our family friendly attractions.Transform into a family friendly creature with full make up and costumesGreet and interact with our guests during Boo FestRemain in character at all timesPass Halloween Candy out to our guests in costumeOther job duties as assignedHow you will do it:Always maintain a friendly character and personsKeep routes (and work locations) cleanBe able to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coastersDemonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantraBe playful and friendly with an outgoing personalityHave a positive attitude to deliver the most terrifying experience possibleORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTUREReports directly to the Promotional Events and Entertainment SupervisorMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Be at least 16 years of ageMust be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rainRequired to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, outdoors in various weather conditionsHeight and weight may be required for proper fit in specific costumesMust be able to work in dark or small placesExposure to smoke and lighting effectMust have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with othersMust be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitudeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPOSITION(S) AVAILABLEWeekends September– October
