CHIVALRY is a premier multi-purpose venue operator, boasting some of the most culturally significant, independently owned and operated venues in Southern California. Offering an eclectic array of events right in the heart of Los Angeles, CHIVALRY operates and preserves three storied venues, including: Catch One, El Cid, & Don Quixote.

Each of the three venues are deeply rooted in the history of Los Angeles and the various cultures that make it one of the most vibrant music and arts cities in the world. Under the leadership of owner Mitch Edelson the legacies of these iconic spaces continue to grow while catering to a broad cross section of artists, genres and cultures.

CHIVALRY is currently looking for an experienced Booking Manager to support all three venues at Catch One, Don Quixote, & El Cid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Booking and Management: Oversee the entire event booking cycle of an event, including contracting, confirming, ticketing, advancing, and settling events. Ensure smooth execution across all venue spaces. Develop initiatives for multi-room and festival-style programming.
  • Programming & Revenue Strategy: Work closely with senior leadership to define and achieve strategic programming objectives and revenue goals.
  • Event Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team and venue staff to promote events effectively and ensure they are executed seamlessly. Connect promoters to marketing and production teams as needed.
  • Relationship Management: Manage and enhance relationships with external promoters, event organizers, and other stakeholders. Cultivate new events and partnerships to diversify and strengthen the club's offerings.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial transactions related to events, including negotiating promoter deals & executing settlements.
  • Leadership: Hire, train, and manage booking assistants and coordinators, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands of a fast-paced entertainment environment.
  • Collaborate: Work with booking teams at Catch Ones sister venues under the CHIVALRYs venue umbrella - Don Quixote & El Cid - to assist in booking events all three establishments.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in event programming and management within a nightclub or live music venue setting.
  • 4+ years of working in the live events, hospitality, and/or nightlife industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong network within the entertainment, nightlife, & hospitality industry.
  • Creative vision with a passion for music, nightlife, & hospitality culture.

The annual salary for this position is $75,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience. Please note, candidates who have previously applied for this position should not reapply.
