Construction Company seeking bookkeeper/Admin Asst. Must be comfortable with all bookkeeping phases from data entry through general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
Job duties include:
* Recording account payable invoices;
* Obtaining proper approvals; A/P reporting; cash disbursements;
* Recording accounts receivables;
* Receipts including posting receivables, fees, and other transactions;
* Reconciling member ledgers and general ledger;
* Bank reconciliations;
* Month end entries and reconciliations;
* Preparing financial statements and reports for properties and owners.
* Payroll data collection and reporting to third party payroll processors;
* Issuing 1099's and preparing 1096;
* Answering phone lines, A/R collections, office administration and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Highly knowledgeable in full-charge bookkeeping functions
* Punctual, reliable, an ability to work independently
* Excellent communication skills
* Criminal background check and drug testing required
Work is in small office environment, M-F, 30 hours per week.
