Responsibilities
Record all revenue and expenditures in Quickbooks.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing,
payment tracking, and vendor communication.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Execute payroll processing, including calculating wages, and deductions.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with
relevant regulations.
Record donations in Breeze (online church management software)
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and streamline
processes.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure
compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations is a plus.
CPA certification or eligibility is advantageous but not required.
