The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Staff Accountant, and the Human Resource Manager with accounting, customer service, and administrative duties. The incumbent must maintain confidentiality while providing excellent customer service and must have excellent attention to detail. The incumbent must excellent organizational skills, independently think, exercise good judgment, assist employees, management and anyone visiting Pasta Montana. Pasta Montana employees are expected to maintain a positive work atmosphere through communication and behaving in a manner that is courteous and respectful of co-workers, supervisors, management, customers, vendors, and contractors. This position is required to adhere to the policies and procedures of Pasta Montana's food safety, quality, and legality programs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsible for accurately coding and posting Account Payables invoices and preparing outgoing payments to Vendors.Responsible for processing Account Receivable invoices daily, disbursing to customers, and processing thru EDI platforms True Commerce, SPS and iTrade. Responsible for accurately posting all incoming payments and deductions for customer programs, shortages, damages, etc. Responsible for setting up new Vendor accounts and finalizing setup of new Customer accounts.Audits, tracks, and books Corporate Credit Card expenses and prepares reports tracking monthly spending. Develops and maintains accrual tools for customer rebates and marketing fees payable to customers.Maintains Sales Register data and prepares a monthly customer shipping accrual report.Assists in tracking and managing sales activities. Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.Prepares orders for Online sales through Amazon, maintains site protocols, and reconciles payments.Assists with front desk coverage and administrative duties.Assists with BRC Internal Audits.Attends meetings as required. Occasional travel may be required.Performs other duties assigned by the CFO, Senior Staff Accountant or Human Resource Manager. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education: 2-years post-secondary education in business/accounting, or equivalent experience or qualifications.Minimum Experience: 4-years of bookkeeping experience or related experience required.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently, plan, organize and prioritize responsibilities. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Able to function as a motivated team member in a highly dynamic environment. Must be able to work in and communicate effectively in a team setting; efficient in problem solving. Excellent attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis. Ability to use accounting software. Ability to efficiently operate a 10-key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures. Other Qualifications: Efficient in the use of computer automated systems and software, including word-processing, spreadsheets, accounting, and databases.
